স্যার, বাংলাদেশ এবং ভারতের বর্তমান সম্পর্কের অবনতির কারন হচ্ছে রাজনৈতিক কিছু ইস্যু, যেমনঃ বাংলাদেশের দাবি ভারত বাংলাদেশের পলাতক অপরাধীদের জায়গা দিচ্ছে, কিন্তু ভারত এই দাবী নাকচ করে দিয়েছে। এজন্য বাংলাদেশীদের মনে একটা ভারতবিরোধী মনোভাব তৈরি হয়েছে। এছাড়াও অন্যতম একটি কারন হচ্ছে সীমান্তে হত্যাকাণ্ড। স্যার, অন্যদিকে ভারতের দাবী বাংলাদেশে সংখ্যালঘুরা নির্যাতিত হচ্ছে এবং এজন্য ভারতীয়দের মনে একটা এন্টি-বাংলাদেশী সেন্টিমেন্ট গড়ে উঠছে। এই কারনগুলোর কারনেই ভারত-বাংলাদেশের সম্পর্ক অবনতি হচ্ছে।
